Terms of service
The agreement between you and Citorial when you buy an audit, subscribe to Pulse, or use the customer dashboard.
Last updated:
1. Who's entering into this agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you (whether as an individual or on behalf of the legal entity that pays for the audit) and Citorial, operating at citorial.com. By purchasing an audit, subscribing to Citorial Pulse, or signing in to app.citorial.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. What we sell
Citorial sells two categories of service:
- One-time audits. Starter ($297), Standard ($497), and Premium ($797). Each audit consists of checking what six AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, and DeepSeek) say about the brand when customers ask product questions, analyzing the results, and delivering a PDF report plus a draft official brand page. Delivery times: 5 / 7 / 10 business days respectively from the moment your briefing is submitted. The depth of the check and the deliverable set scales with the engagement tier you purchase.
- Citorial Pulse. A monthly subscription ($97/month per brand) that monitors your AI search presence across the same six assistants every 30 days and emails a digest of what changed. Can be canceled at any time from the customer dashboard or by emailing support; no long-term commitment.
3. How purchasing works
Payments are processed by Hotmart, our merchant of record. Hotmart handles tax (including VAT/IVA in the EU and applicable Brazilian taxes) and is responsible for the receipt or invoice you receive. By purchasing, you accept Hotmart's own terms of service in addition to ours.
Prices are listed in US dollars. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay; we do not add surprise fees at the end of the funnel.
4. Briefing and delivery
Each audit starts with a brand briefing form. The delivery clock starts the moment you submit a complete briefing. If the briefing is missing key fields (brand name, store URL, at least one competitor, the country/language scope), we will pause the clock and email you to complete it.
We send the final PDF report by email and surface it inside your dashboard at the same time. If delivery slips past the stated turnaround for reasons within our control, we will proactively credit you a 15% discount on the next purchase — no need to ask.
5. What you get — and what you don't
You get:
- The PDF audit report.
- The verbatim prompt + response data used in the audit, available on request.
- A draft of your official brand page, ready for you to review and approve before it goes live.
- Email support for 30 days post-delivery for clarification questions.
You do not get:
- Implementation services. The audit tells you what to do; doing it is on you (or your team).
- A guarantee of any specific ranking, citation rate, or revenue outcome. We measure visibility honestly and recommend high-leverage actions, but AI search results depend on dozens of factors we don't control.
- Anything we did not specifically describe on the pricing page. If a feature isn't listed, it isn't included.
6. Refunds
Every one-time audit comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee from delivery. Read the full refund policy for the conditions and the request process. Pulse subscriptions can be canceled at any time; we do not refund a partial month but you will not be charged again after cancellation.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Citorial to:
- Submit briefings for brands you do not own or have no authorization to represent.
- Audit a brand with the goal of harassing, defaming, or maliciously interfering with its operations.
- Re-sell our reports verbatim. You may quote findings inside your own client work; you may not white-label entire reports as someone else's product without a separate written agreement.
- Scrape, replicate, or attempt to circumvent the customer dashboard.
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with refund of any unused balance pro-rated to the date of termination.
8. Intellectual property
You own your brand, your briefing answers, and the audit report we deliver to you (you are free to share it internally, quote it externally, or republish parts of it for your own marketing).
We own the Citorial brand, the customer dashboard, the audit pipeline (including the prompt-generation methodology), and any aggregated/anonymized data we extract for product improvement. Aggregated data never includes brand names or other identifying information about your audit.
9. Warranties and limitation of liability
We provide Citorial "as is" and warrant only that we will use commercially reasonable skill and care in producing your audit. We do not warrant that the audit recommendations will achieve any specific outcome, that the six LLMs will continue to behave consistently, or that any specific channel or citation pattern will persist.
Our total aggregate liability under these Terms, regardless of cause, is capped at the amount you paid Citorial in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to active customers at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Citorial after a change constitutes acceptance.
You can stop using Citorial at any time. Active subscriptions can be canceled from the dashboard; one-time audits do not have an ongoing relationship to terminate.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes should first be raised in writing to hello@citorial.com; if not resolved within 30 days, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of São Paulo, Brazil. Consumer rights granted to you by your country's mandatory law (e.g. LGPD, GDPR, CCPA) remain in force regardless of this clause.
